Becky Alexander, AIA, WELL AP

Becky is an architect and researcher at LHB where she does a combination of sustainable building research and architectural design. Her sustainable building research involves collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and synthesizing data at building, organization, and city-wide scales. Focusing on energy consumption, plug load energy use, water consumption, waste production, stormwater management, and greenhouse gas emissions, this research also investigates the relationship between sustainable practices and initial costs. This research carries into Becky’s design work, where she envisions holistic designs that integrate building performance and user experience. This approach inspires a genuine interest in every step of the architectural process – from initial research into the site and client goals to post-occupancy evaluations.
