Thea Rozenbergs, Associate AIA

Thea is an designer involved in all phases of projects from initial programming and space planning, to developing details and producing construction documents. She has a Master of Architecture and currently working toward completing her Master of Sustainable Design (2015) with experience in integrated sustainable design. Thea is active in the research and analysis of the MnSCU system’s sustainable design efforts. She has experience with a variety of client types including higher education, government, and commercial.
Thea’s sustainable building research involves collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and synthesizing data at building, organization, and city-wide scales. This research focuses on total energy consumption, plug load energy use, water consumption and stormwater management, while investigating the relationship between holistic sustainable practices and life-cycle costs. Thea practices integrated sustainable design process in which good design ideas are supported by relevant and integrated research providing clients with an improved occupant experience and superior building performance.
